Welcome

Welcome to my blog.  This blog has been set up as a class project for my Intro to Mass Comm class.  There is a possibility I will use it for other things as time goes on.

First off, I will explain where my name “purrdeta” came from. Quite simply, purrdeta is the name of my cat.  I named her about 13 years ago when I was in the second grade.  She is my second cat and is still living although she is a bit old.  When I first started on the internet that is what I chose and it has stuck with me and now that is who I am on the internet.  You may think it strange, but I quite like it.

My name is Alex Hanselka and I am a student at TCC and plan to transfer to UNT in the fall of 2010.  I currently volunteer for two radio stations, KNON 89.3 FM and KTCU 88.7 FM in Dallas/Ft Worth.  I plan to major in Radio Television Film at UNT but that, of course, is subject to change.  If you have any questions about me or anything at all, feel free to leave a comment or email me!
